Dr Feldenkrais described any action as being made up of three components – timing, orientation and manipulation. Over the past few years the component of ‘orientation’ has been an interesting area to seek more clarity and understanding in, both personally and in my professional practice. How do I orient to myself, to the world around me, as well as moving and interacting with the world.

I have had some interesting conversations with Gisele around these ideas for several years, and how they can be made ‘concrete’ for ourselves and our clients.

Come and share our understanding of what orientation involves – how it has been expanded, clarified and what still intrigues us both.

We will explore this in conversation, small movement explorations, and examples from our practice; then invite you to join us ‘live’ for a Q&A session and an ATM where we can continue the learning.
